Learned one song by Nirvana, was a high school star
Loved Bob Marley and Stevie Nicks
Was a full fledged junkie, music was my fix
When I was 14 I wrote my very first song
Used to go to rock shows and hum along

When I was 15 I joined a crappy band
We had a really lame name and songs that were 2nd hand
When it comes to making songs yo - Here’s the thing
They take time to write – but great big balls to sing
So I played covers while biding my time
Working on my hooks and reperfecting my rhyme
By the time I was 20 my songs they were many
I wanted to record, some joker took all of my money
